Mitsubishi Heat Pumps – Aftercare and Servicing

Mitsubishi Electric was first established in the UK back in the 1980s. It’s now one of the leading manufacturers of heating and cooling products in Great Britain. Mitsubishi introduced its revolutionary Ecodan air source heat pump (ASHP) in 2007. Today, the 8.5kW Ecodan ASHP and the Ecodan cylinder are produced in Livingston, Scotland, for the UK and European markets.

The company launched its Commercial Ecodan range of products in 2010, featuring both air source and ground source heat pumps, that are designed for heating commercial buildings.

Mitsubishi is committed to developing heating systems that are energy-efficient and help to prevent global warming. Heat pump technology has a minimal effect on the environment and is becoming more sought after every year.

Mitsubishi heat pumps

The Mitsubishi Ecodan range of air source heat pumps come in various sizes, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. Whether you need to heat a small flat, a large detached house or a school, there will be an Ecodan air source heat pump to suit. They are able to provide hot water of up to 60oC in ambient temperatures as low as -25oC, making them a viable alternative to traditional heating systems.

Ecodan ground source heat pumps are designed for commercial use and are suitable for properties ranging from an office unit to a school and everything in between. They deliver water temperatures of up to 65oC utilising ground or water temperatures as low as -5oC.

You can be sure that an air source or ground source heat pump from Mitsubishi will keep your home or commercial property warm and cosy whatever the weather outside.

Mitsubishi heat pump aftercare from Reina Group

A little maintenance goes a long way when it comes to heat pumps. They work in a similar way to a refrigerator (except in reverse) and have few moving parts. However, annual servicing will ensure that your heat pump continues to run at maximum efficiency and minimise the chance of a breakdown. Also, RHI tariff payment conditions require heat pumps to be regularly maintained.

When installing your heat pump, the Reina Group can arrange a planned service agreement with you for peace of mind. Only fully qualified and experienced heating engineers do our heat pump servicing so you can be sure that it’ll be in safe hands.

We are also happy to fault find and repair heat pumps that were not installed by us. Simply give us a call.
