The Reina Group are moving further afield and reaching a wider audience

The Reina Group are branching out and expanding the operation, our good name and faultless reputation is travelling to other counties!

This is the story of a text book installation of a Nibe 8kW Air Source Heat Pump fitted into a refurbished 156 m², semi-detached property, located north of Stanstead, Essex.

Due to our commanding presence and positioning on Google, when searching for Heat Pump installers in Essex, we attracted this particular client.  The enquiry was received during the weekend and due to our prompt response, and experienced knowledge we were able to send an indicative Heat Pump quotation, which was an informative and comprehensive pricing proposal, almost immediately.

During our initial enquiries and subsequent site visit we learnt that the property was not located in close proximity of a mains gas supply and the existing heating system was fuelled solely by electricity, with the client’s fuel bills exceeding £2000 per annum.  The heatloss calculation of the property highlighted certain inefficiencies and we recommended improvements to the loft and cavity wall inline with RHI criteria prior to installation, to ensure the maximum heat efficiency results were achieved.

The total cost of installing the Heat Pump, cylinder & buffer was £9,555.00  and now that the installation is complete the client is expected to save a staggering £1500 per year on their current fuel bill as well as receiving cash-back payments of  circa £9,800.00, as part of the RHI incentive scheme which provides considerable financial payback in this case, over a seven year period.

Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

As of 1st October 2017 (subject to Parliamentary approval) changes to the RHI for domestic properties will come into effect.  Based on the figures contained in the latest Government paper, you will be entitled to an annual RHI payment of  just over 10.00 pence per kWh for Air Source Heat Pumps and 19.55 pence per kWhr for Ground Source Heat Pumps for seven years, based on your valid EPC (Energy Performance Certificate).  The aim of the scheme is to encourage householders to switch to alternative energy sources for their space heating and hot water supplies by offering financial incentives.
