Client - Bridges High Performance Engineering
South East Water have successfully completed a major element of a programme of works which help maintain and enhance water supply for more than 700,000 residents in Surrey, Kent and south London. Part of this programme was to install a heating system into a chemical dosing building, where chemicals are stored, and need to be maintained at a constant temperature.
The Reina Group installed two Nibe Air Source heat pumps into a chemical room where Chlorine is stored. The works specification was detailed with the priority of installing a heating system that could maintain a constant heat throughout the storage room. It is imperative that the Chlorine is stored above 19 degrees, which is a fundamental part of cleaning the water. The air source heat pump will provide a constant maintained heat within the room keeping the chemicals at the correct temperature. Our team performed the installation working closely with our client ensuring all Health & Safety procedures were met.
