Ross House was originally a large two storey office block which was converted into multiple flats in 2017. It was subsequently purchased by Folkestone & Hythe District Council. The EPC ratings for each flat as ‘D’.
Fabric upgrade through out, Individual 3.86Kwp PV systems serving each flat and decentralised Air Source Heat Pumps with hot water cylinders and wet radiator systems.
Our objective to achieve EPC rating of ‘A’ (98 points) to zero carbon. Undertake full building survey to determine the component U values, thermal efficiency and review the electrical, space and hot water heating systems with a view to making options appraisal recommendations for the thermal upgrading of the building and changing of the heating system to alternative low carbon technologies. Provide client with a detailed and comprehensive costed options appraisal report summarising the details of the surveys and energy assessments. Recommendations for energy management systems to control in use costs. Whole life servicing and repair costs of all recommended system upgrades. Advise on any planning, Building Control, or other statutory requirements against each of the options within the appraisal. Provide tender documentation and specification for works required.
