RBLI – New Homes for the those that served our Country!
What a great privilege it is for the Reina Group to be working on this project, helping war veterans and their families who are part of the Royal British Legion Industries.
The Reina Group are appointed mechanical engineers for this modern development in Aylesford working together with Jenner (Contractors) Ltd, the main contractor for this prestigious project. A total of 24 homes across 2 blocks will be providing accommodation for those who are not in need of care but require specialist facilities. Accommodation will also be provided for younger single veterans in need of temporary housing.
The project has taken 10 months to complete and is now in its final stages. The Reina Group team have successfully supplied and installed the following, throughout the project:
· Full heating system
· Water boosters
· Cold main supplies,
· Storage tanks
· Chlorination
· Gas installation
· Sanitary ware
· Rainwater systems
· Ventilation
RBLI is aiming to create a new sustainable community of ex-forces personnel with the site located near to the extensive RBLI Village which offers support, employment and further housing for ex-personnel.
The development will feature a specialist centrepiece – The Chelsea Barracks Garden, designed by Jo Thompson an exhibitor of The Chelsea Flower Show. The garden will provide a tranquil place for all residents to relax and hopefully contribute to the resident’s rehabilitation.
