Daikin Altherma Heat Pumps – Aftercare and Servicing

Daikin produce an excellent range of air source heat pumps designed to work well in a number of different domestic, commercial and industrial settings. These air source heat pumps are designed to represent a major step forward in the world of energy efficient climate control, making the most of the free heat available in the environment rather than using typical fuel sources.

As a company, Daikin Altherma has over 70 years of experience, during which time it has built a strong reputation for high quality and innovative technology. Daikin has won a number of excellent awards for its highly successful range of products, including some prestigious environmental accolades. These include the Good Design Award and the European Eco-label.

Daikin Altherma heat pumps

The high efficiency ratings of Daikin air source heat pumps makes them hugely advantageous environmentally, widely recognised as an effective form of renewable heat technology. As well as being better for the environment, air source heat pumps like the ones produced by Daikin have far lower running costs than traditional energy sources, making them economically viable in a number of scenarios. They work by extracting heat from the outside air, even when outside temperatures drop as low as -20°C. They then pump the heat to indoor spaces.

Daikin produce a range of products, from hybrid heat pumps to air to water heat pumps suitable for both high and low temperatures; depending on the location, these products can be used in all properties from renovations to new builds, and low energy homes.

Daikin Altherma air source heat pumps are eligible for major renewable energy incentives, including the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (domestic RHI) and Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA).

Daikin Altherma heat pump aftercare from The Reina Group

Heat pumps do require less maintenance compared to many traditional heating systems, but this doesn’t mean that you should forget maintenance altogether. It’s important to keep your system well maintained, not only to keep it efficient, but to make sure that you continue to receive RHI payments. This is because maintenance is a condition of the RHI tariff regulations.

Here at The Reina Group we offer maintenance and servicing on heat pumps even if we didn’t fit them, meaning that we can help you locate the source of any issues and ensure that high standards are maintained.

For more details on our range of heat pump aftercare solutions please contact us, either by email hp@reinagroup.co.uk or telephone on 01303 248648.
