Heat Pump Installations in Tonbridge
If you live in the Tonbridge area you will be pleased to know that the Reina Group cover this area. We are a Kent-based company who serve the whole region. We are certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) to supply and install heat pumps. MCS is a mark of quality and trust. This scheme ensures that your heat pump installation is carried out to the highest quality standards, and it offers consumer protection should anything go wrong. One of the criteria for the RHI is that both your heat pump system and your installation engineers must be MCS certified. The Reina Group only install MCS heat pumps.
MCS heat pumps are an environmentally friendly way of generating heat for your home or business. Heat pumps can be used for both space heating and hot water so they can replace your existing boiler, electric or solid fuel heating. Installing a heat pump system can reduce your carbon footprint and, depending on the type of heating your are replacing, could save you money on your energy bills.
There are two main types of MCS heat pumps: ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps. Ground source heat pumps require tubing to be placed either in trenches dug horizontally or in vertical boreholes, which requires less land. The tubing is filled with fluid which circulates through the system, absorbing heat from the ground. Air source heat pumps require much less invasive installation. Warmth is collected from the air outside the building; it’s drawn towards a coil of fluid-filled tubes by a fan. Apart from a small amount of electricity used to power the heat pump system, the heat energy sourced from the ground or air is renewable.
The Reina Group can work with you to design a heat pump system that would best suit your property. We can advise on which system would be most appropriate. So if you are thinking about heat pump installation in your Tonbridge property, do get in touch.
