The Reina Group can offer MCS certified experienced engineers to design & install quality heat pump projects in Essex, demonstrate consumer confidence with high praise on Checkatrade and prove security as members of RECC (www.recc.org.uk)
The Reina Group have over ten years’ experience of installing heat pumps across the South East. All engineers are highly experienced and fully certified by the likes of Thermia, Danfoss, Nibe, Stiebel Eltron, Vaillant, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Kensa, meaning you are in the safest hands when it comes to the installation of your heat pump. For extra peace of mind you have the benefit of consumer protection from the RECC (renewable energy consumer code) and confidence in knowing we are Microgeneration Certification Scheme approved.
We not only install your heat pump but can also help you design and integrate the systems into your property as well as providing an annual service. We truly understand how the pumps work and what is required for you to have a warm home via this amazing renewable energy sourced technology that is also environmentally friendly.
There are two main types of MCS heat pumps available to you: ground source and air source heat pumps. They work similarly, using almost the same refrigerant technology but through different means of gathering energy.
Ground source heat pumps
These heat pumps provide you with heat from the ground. Fluid filled pipes are laid horizontally in the ground, or vertically via bore holes. The trenches will require more space than the boreholes, but the process works in the same way. An alternative is to extract water from the ground, river or lake allowing it to pass through a heat exchanger to provide heating and hot water before returning to the source.
Air source heat pumps
Air source pumps extract heat from the ambient air temperature and convert this energy via a liquid into a gas, which with the aid of a compressor increases the temperature so it can heat a home’s hot water and heating.
Air to water systems connect to a wet central heating system, which will replace your current oil or gas boiler. This will provide your home with both central heating and hot water, usually via either under floor heating or through traditional radiators. Air to air heat pumps only provide space heating through hot air and are not covered by the RHI (renewable heat incentive)
Heat pumps are a great way of lowering your carbon footprint, because they make use of a renewable energy source (The Sun) to heat your home or business. By using a MCS heat pump certified installer like us here at The Reina Group you could be entitled for a government-backed financial incentive, such as RHI – another benefit of making the most of this renewable energy resource.
For ground or air source MCS heat pumps we offer servicing and installations to customers throughout Essex. Here are a few of the locations we cover for heat pump installations:
