Free Heat Pump Awareness Conference October 2015
When: 16th October 2015 - 09.00 registration with coffee & pastries.
Where: Maidstone Hilton, Bearsted Road, Maidstone ME14 5AA
The Reina Group is holding a Heat Pump Awareness Conference on Friday 16th October 2015 at the Maidstone Hilton, and we would be delighted if you were able to join us.
This is a CPD certified event and is FREE to attend. Our aim is to give key construction and housing industry professionals in Kent an insight into heat pumps and their applicability as a contemporary heating solution.
Attendees will benefit from talks by industry experts. The following topics will be covered:
● Basic introduction to heat pumps
● Benefits of low carbon technology (financial and environmental)
● Government funding via the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for both domestic and non domestic installations.
● MCS design, electrical supply requirements, aesthetics, etc.
● Suitable geology within Kent for “open loop” systems
We are pleased to confirm that Kelly Butler, Marketing Director at BEAMA, has agreed to speak on the latest thinking from DECC (Dept of Energy & Climate Change).
There will be talks by four of Europe’s leading heat pump manufacturers, Daikin, Kensa, Thermia and Vaillant, each of whom we have chosen because they all bring something slightly different to the marketplace.
We shall also have our preferred geologist / driller (OT Drilling) present on the day to answer any questions on Kent’s geology and boreholes, along with Trench Cut Ltd. of Ashford who will be available to talk about their innovative horizontal trenching technique.
To complement the day, Beaumont Facades and Wetherby Building Systems will be on hand to answer questions on external wall insulation products; Underfloor Heating Now will give advice on the synergy with their products; and government appointed assessors who perform the mandatory reports to comply with RHI criteria will all be in attendance.
Plan for the day
The presentations, along with a Q&A session, will run from approximately 09.30am until 12.30pm, followed by a buffet lunch and the opportunity to meet with the speakers, other attendees and to view demonstration equipment. A detailed itinerary and directions, along with a list of attendees will be forwarded nearer the time.
